GMT Greece Supports Children’s Health and Education Initiatives

On June 4, 2025, GMT Greece proudly participated in a fundraising event hosted at the Status Centre in Athens, joining efforts to support two remarkable organizations: Mazi gia to Paidi and the Elpida Foundation.
Representing GMT Greece, our General Manager Fotis Pappas attended the event alongside colleagues from Oceanic. The evening served as a powerful reminder of how collective action can make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families across Greece.
By supporting Mazi gia to Paidi’s Remote Areas Program, GMT Greece is contributing to the upgrade of public school infrastructure in the region of Epirus. This includes the provision of modern electronic equipment and essential educational materials, aimed at enhancing learning environments and expanding opportunities for children in underserved communities. In addition, part of the support helps strengthen pediatric healthcare services in local public facilities — bringing better care closer to home for children in remote areas.
Our contribution to the Elpida Foundation will support the installation of a groundbreaking CoeLux lighting system in the Nuclear Medicine Department of the Elpida Children’s Oncology Unit. This innovative technology replicates the feeling of natural daylight, creating a brighter and more comforting atmosphere for young patients undergoing critical treatments.
