Posidonia 2024: A Hub of Activity and Success for GMT Greece

As we draw the curtains on Posidonia 2024, we reflect on the incredible journey of the last few days. This year’s exhibition was once again a testament of GMT’s dynamic presence and recognition of our continuous efforts for the quality and efficient provision of our marine travel services.
Held from June 3-7 at the Athens Metropolitan Expo Center, the Posidonia 2024 International Shipping Exhibition welcomed over 40,000 visitors and industry professionals. Our stand, shared with Oceanic, was strategically positioned in a prime location within Hall 1, attracting over 500 existing and potential customers and partners daily.
A standout feature of the exhibition was the co-branded basketball giveaways, which proved to be immensely popular among attendees, delighting our clientele and enhancing the overall experience at the stand.
Adding to the engaging atmosphere, a cocktail reception with canapes was held daily from 2 PM to 5 PM which became a focal point for many show participants, providing a lively setting for fun, networking, and discussions.
The overwhelming success of the 2024 Posidonia exhibition has inspired GMT to aim for an even larger presence in 2026. Plans are already underway to expand the stand to better accommodate the increasing popularity and active participation anticipated at future Posidonia events.
